Chicks!

Our freshly hatched chicks:

They grow quickly!

My students built "Chick Land" in the back corner of the yard, where Dustin has been working on putting in a garden.

Elijah's really enjoyed the chicks and is quite good at catching and holding them.

At almost 6 weeks old, we have one chick left. All the others have learned to fly out of their box, and so have moved on to bigger, happy homes.
