Since he slept through half of our guest lecture, we tried to prep him for the Getty in other ways (though, incidentally, we ran out of time for the French furniture).
We enjoyed the gardens...
...and the warm travertine rock...
...and, of course, the water...
...as well as many beautiful paintings!
